Our Moraine Lake tours

Sunrise — catch first light at Moraine Lake, then Lake Louise and the Fairmont Château, returning along the Bow Valley Parkway for a chance to see wildlife
Morning (8:00 AM) — Lake Louise then Moraine Lake and the Ten Peaks
Afternoon (1:00 PM) — Lake Louise then Moraine Lake
Evening (7:00 PM) — three full hours at Moraine Lake from sunset to twilight and starlight
6:00 AM from Canmore and Banff — Moraine Lake, Lake Louise and the Bow Valley Parkway

Sunrise tour times change through the season

Pickup times move earlier or later across the season (for example about 3:30 AM in early June to 5:30 AM in late September). The booking form shows the exact pickup time for the date you choose.

Not staying at a listed hotel?

Book your pickup from Banff Train Station, where there are 500 free public parking spaces. For Canmore, use the Canmore Visitor Information Centre.

Frequently asked questions

When is the road to Moraine Lake open?

The road is generally open from June 1 to mid-October. Tours run only while it is open.

What is your cancellation policy?

More than 48 hours before the service date you can cancel for a full refund or reschedule to a later date at no fee. Within 48 hours bookings are non-refundable, or can be rescheduled for a $30 fee (subject to availability). If we cancel a service, you receive a full refund. Email info@mtnparktrans.com to cancel or reschedule.

What if I miss the shuttle?

If you miss the shuttle we cannot reschedule or refund your booking. On tours the driver departs at the agreed return time, so please be on time.

If I'm not staying at a hotel, where can I park?

The Banff Train Station public lot (327 Railway Avenue) has 500 free parking stalls and is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Choose Banff Train Station as your pickup.
